Short courses:

What is your need? Do you want to learn how to debone a chicken? Would you like to work with phyllo pastry? Get a few friends together and we will present a course according to your need.

Cooking with a Famous South African Chef:

Special evenings with a particular chef is held on a regular basis. Here you will have the opportunity to cook the chefs’ favourite dishes under his/her personal guidance.

Corporate Teambuilding Experience:

Nothing breaks down barriers and develops inter-personal relationships like cooking together. The end result of such an evening is a three course meal, enjoyed by a whole team who cooked and baked together, and in the relaxed atmosphere of the kitchen, rediscovered the meaning of teamwork.

The evening starts off with a short introduction of the theme of the evening, and then the group is divided into smaller teams, (the teams work in pairs). A demonstration of each dish is given and then it is left to the team to prepare the dishes under the professional supervision of Chef Maritha Steyn and her staff.

Facilities The kitchen is fully equipped with state of the art BOSCH gas stoves, the necessary high quality kitchen utensils, stainless steel surfaces and a beautiful dining area as well as a tea garden.
Courses & Services

These courses are aimed at using the cooking experience as a team building experience.

Fun Cooking Evenings:

Some people collect stamps, others take painting lessons and others cook together. A more therapeutic and relaxing evening will be hard to find.

The whole purpose of these courses is designed to the group’s requirements. Cooking together, eating together and enjoying a glass of wine will ensure a most fulfilling experience.

Domestic Workers’ Courses:

All necessary skills in order to present a tasty meal as well as planning of menus will be taught.

Quick Meals for the busy person:

In a rush and you don't know what to make for supper? Learn to cook innovative meals which require a minimum of time and money.

Parents’ and Kids’ Courses:

What about a mother and daughter day; or even a father and son bonding experience in the kitchen? Our regular courses for Teenagers and Pre-teens are very popular too.

Full Time Course - 6 Months:

This course, will enable you to obtain a primary certificate in culinary arts. The major emphasis is on practical cookery. Intakes: January and July.
