Beef Stroganoff

50ml chopped onions 1 clove garlic, chopped 250g Mushrooms, sliced Butter for frying 750g soft beef steak, cut into strips 30ml flour 250ml beef stock 15ml Worcester sauce Salt 250ml Sour cream

(IF COMMERCIAL STOCK IS USED, THE DISH MAY BE SALTY ENOUGH) Method


1. Sauté the onion, garlic and mushrooms in butter.

2. Add meat and brown

3. Add flour and brown slightly. Add stock and Worcester sauce while stirring. Cook till

thick.

4. Add the cream and heat through. Serve with rice or mashed potatoes
