INGREDIENTS
2 rolls of puff pastry
60ml Nutella
1 egg or milk
15ml icing sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Unroll one piece of puff pastry and spread the Nutella on top of it.
2. Unroll the second piece of puff pastry and place this on top, pressing down everything together.
3. Use a medium sized star cookie cutter to cut out the star shapes.
4. Take a piece of parchment paper and a large dinner plate.
5. Draw around the edge of the plate so that you have a perfect circle marked out on the paper.
6. Arrange the stars on the paper, following the circle shape round and overlapping the stars slightly.
7. Whisk the egg in a small bowl with a fork and brush onto the top of the pastry stars.
8. Lift up the parchment paper and transfer to a baking tray.
9. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
10. When cooked, remove from the oven. You can serve the pastry wreath on the paper you cooked it on or you can transfer it to a board or plate.
11. Dust with a little icing sugar on top.
