French Toast Rolls


1 loaf white bread

250 g cream cheese

125 ml Cinnamon Sugar

15 ml B-Well Lemon flavoured Canola oil

5 eggs

125 ml Milk

Pinch Oryx Desert Salt

15 ml Sugar


250 g Strawberries

80 ml Sugar

80 ml water

200 g Streaky bacon

200 g Crème Fresh


  1. Trim crusts of bread slices

  2. Press the ends of the bread slices together to form a longer strip.

  3. Smear with cream cheese and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar

  4. Start at one end and roll up like a Swiss Roll. Slice in 4 rings

  5. Smear an ovenproof dish with B-well oil and place rolls in rows.

  6. Mix eggs, milk, salt and sugar together and pour over bread rolls.

  7. Bake at 180C for 20 minutes or until egg is set and golden brown

  8. Sauce. Boil strawberries, sugar and water together until soft. Blitz to form a smooth sauce.

  9. Fry bacon until crispy and serve crème fresh and sauce with French toast bake.
