GRILLED HAMBURGERS

(2 portions)




 

Ingredients

150g  mince

1ml  salt

pinch  pepper

½ egg

5ml  Worcester Sauce

2 bread rolls

15ml  butter or margarine

1ml  prepared mustard

Sliced onion

Sliced tomato

2 lettuce leaves, washed and dried

 

1.               Mix the mince, salt, pepper, egg and Worcester sauce.

2.               Shape into frikkadels and flatten to a thickness of ± 1cm.

3.               Cook on greased grid on coals, or under the element in a oven, in a frying pan.

4.               Slit the bread rolls and butter. Spread 1 half lightly with mustard.

5.               Blanch onions and allow to dry.

6.               Arrange a lettuce leaf, slice of tomato and some onion and a fried frikkadel on one half of a bread roll. Serve between the two halves of the bread roll.
