Keftedes (Greek Meatballs)

Makes 24 meatballs

Ingredients:
500g lean beef mince
1 large onion, grated or finely chopped
2 Garlic cloves, minced
5ml salt
2 ml pepper
1 egg
90ml chopped fresh mint
500ml bread crumbs
1 lemon
Oil
Tzatsiki for serving
Method:
1.Mix together minced beef, grated onion, minced garlic, salt, pepper, egg, chopped mint and breadcrumbs.
2. Once combined, form into meatballs using about 1 heaping tablespoon per meatball.
3. Coat the bottom of a frying pan or shallow casserole with olive oil and turn to medium heat
4. Fry the meatballs in batches, stirring everything few minutes until meatballs are cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
5. Serve with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and Tzatsiki
