Apple Cheesecake Crumble

8 bars or 16 squares

Ingredients

Crust

250 ml Cake flour

60 ml Brown sugar

125 ml Butter

Apples

2 Apples, peeled, cored and cut in blocks

2,5 ml Ground Cinnamon

Pinch Nutmeg

15 ml Sugar

Cheesecake

250 g Cream cheese

90 ml Sugar

2 Eggs

5 ml Vanilla essence

Streusel Crumble

125 ml Brown sugar

125 ml Flour

60 ml Oats

60 ml Butter

2,5 ml Ground Cinnamon

Preheat oven to 180°C

Method

1. Crust: Combine flour and sugar. Cut in butter to create a

crumbly dough.

2. Press into 20cm x 20cm baking tin. Place baking paper on top with dry bean. Bake blind for 15 minutes.

3. Apples: Mix apples, spices and sugar. Let stand until syrupy.

4. Cheesecake: Soften cream cheese with beater. Add sugar and vanilla. Beat well. Add eggs and mix well.

5. Streusel Crumble: using your fingertips, crumb all the ingredients together until large crumbs.

6. Add cheesecake to par-baked crust. Place apples over cheesecake. Sprinkle streusel over entire surface of pan to cover everything.

7. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until set.

8. Cool down and cut into blocks.
