Cauliflower, cut into steaks, roughly 1cm thick
1 Clove Garlic, chopped
Salt to taste
Thyme
Rosemary
Sage
80g butter
Oil for frying
For the sauce
50ml Dry white wine
20ml Cream
Method
1. Heat oil in a pan. Place the cauliflower steak in the pan to sear.
2. Add butter, garlic, thyme, rosemary and sage.
3. Spoon melted butter over the cauliflower. Flip and repeat for the other side.
4. After +/- 6 minutes, place foil over the cauliflower and place pan in the oven.
5. Let cauliflower roast in the oven for 6-8 minutes.
6. Remove pan from oven and take cauliflower out of the pan.
7. To make the sauce, add white wine to the butter and herb mixture in the pan. Cook the wine until the alcohol has evaporated and the smell of the wine is no longer there.
