SHIRRED EGGS





Ingredients


3 slices back or streaky bacon

1 egg

grated cheese

1 slice bread

10ml olive oil

Salt and pepper


Method:


1. Pre heat the oven to 180°C.

2. Place the bacon slices around the inside of 2 ramekins or use a muffin pan.  

3. Use some bacon to cover the bottom of the ramekins to form a cup. Or use the bread slices as replacement. Flatten the bread using a rolling pin.

4. Drop and whole egg into each cup, season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with cheese Bake in pre-heated oven 180°C for 10 minutes.

5. Serve with a salad.
